Hotel Energy Uplift Program
One of the benefits to come out of the COVID-19 shutdowns was that hospitality businesses were forced to cut costs to the bone with little to no notice. In the process, albeit a difficult one, especially with staff, business was forced to have a strategic look at operations and, as a result, stronger businesses will emerge.

We applaud the Federal Government in announcing the Hotel Energy Uplift Program to continue allowing small to medium accommodation businesses to strengthen by further reducing costs and at the same time reducing energy consumption. Grants are available from $10k to $25k to engage energy audits and/or upgrade equipment to reduce energy consumption on complexes up to 99 rooms.

There is $10.2 million available for this grant opportunity and the closing date is 1 April 2021.
